Problem about 1GB Ethernet Pass-thruh on C3000 Enclosure
Here's our problem details.
We have a C3000 enclosure with 2 1GB Ethernet pass-thruh. All is working fine until one day some of the ports become dead.
I mean even if it has ethernet cables it doesn't have any activity, also the two LED's doesn't lit up even if we connect it with cables.
My problematic ports are port 13 and 15 on ethernet pass-thruh bay 1, the other ethernet pass-thruh is ok.

Re: Problem about 1GB Ethernet Pass-thruh on C3000 Enclosure
I'd start with reseating the pass-thru module.
Reseating an interconnect module is usually a safe procedure, but if the module is semi-broken perhaps it becomes more broken.

Re: Problem about 1GB Ethernet Pass-thruh on C3000 Enclosure
So the servers in bay 5 and 7 are affected (NIC2).
Consider to swap the server locations for testing to ensure the NIC is not the problem.
Check the speed settings too, the PT module works only with 1Gb, not with other speeds.
To rule out other reasons, just plug a cable from port 13 to 15 and see what happens.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

I already tried to reseat the module but the problem is still there.
I also tried to swap the blade servers still the slot 13 and 15 is dead.
