Problems installing drivers for QLogic cards

We've got some DL465c blades, running Win2K3R2 SP2. When we try and install the ProLiant support pack, the install hangs at the QLogic driver install. Usually, it takes 15 mins to install just this one driver.

Are there any known problems/issues with the current PSP & Win2K3R2 ?

Try a custom install and install only that component.
Check the error log it should log messages if it fails.

Re: Problems installing drivers for QLogic cards

We are using the current PSP 7.91

The problem isn't that the driver doesn't install, it's that it takes 15 minutes to install.

Are the HBAs on production? Or are you trying to install drivers with them conected?

Just put then in offline mode and install the drivers with your PSP, to do that, just unplug your Fiber.

This will help you.

Next time, install your windows servers with SmartStart CD 7.91, which install ur Windows with PSP drivers :P

But if my Qlogic HBA is a primary controller, and I'm boot my Windows 2003 from a SUN. How to act to me??
