what OS in use ? Qlogic Sansurfer is a neat tool.

Or if You have PSP installed the info can be found from SMH

Use the Qlogic SANSurfer or perform a reboot and have a look to the POST (access the HBA with ctrl+q).

Hi.

I think you can check the contents of this file:

/sys/class/scsi_host/hostx/fw_version

where x=0,1,..., depending on the number of HBAs you have, aulthough I think the most reliable way is to see what appears at boot time (I don't know SANsurfer).

Regards.

Re: QLogic QMH2462 4Gb FC HBA

The thing is that on server boot (POST) You'll se the FC card BIOS which not the firmware.

qlogic cards have separate BIOS and driver/firmware.

If You could tell your OS it would be easier to help.

Also You should start to assign points to answer that helped YOUR cause.
