Repairing mirror disks

Hi,

I have a failed disk in one of my BL25p blades, I have inserted a new disk but it is not recognised as a replacement for the failed disk.
The system is asking for the disk on Port2 SCSI ID 1 to be replaced, the new drive is being detected as Port1 SCSI ID 1 instead. (Working disk is Port1 SCSI ID 0)
I have included a screen shot of the ACU for clarification. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Repairing mirror disks

Take a Backup, and create a disaster recovery plan.

I've got an idea, but I'm not sure if it will work.
There is a way to break the mirror, i will search for the guide and post the link.

1. Upgrade the RAID FW.
2. Break mirror
3. create a new mirror.

I will read the guide, and check how the re-create the mirror.

Please, if it doesn't work, don't get angry with me.

Here's the link.

You will have to use the ACU method, the manual won't work in your case.

I don't think the re-mirror operation will succed, you can try.
If not you can try using the expand and migrate options in the ACU.

Good luck
