Replacing a FC Module
Hope this is not a silly question. :) I am replacing a 4GB FC module in a c7000 (bad port). I assume the swap is transparent since I have two? Will the WWNs or VC profiles be affected?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Replacing a FC Module
No. The only thing that you might have a problem with is F/W levels. If your new module F/W is different to the existing modules, then you will start generating VC errors.
If you have an empty Interconnect bay on your enclosure, put your new module in there and use VCSU to set the F/W version the same as your current modules.
