SSDs Used in HP BL490c G7 Blades

We recently ordered a few HP BL490c G7 blades (603602-B21) with SSDs (572075-B21) in each one. Does anyone know who manufactures (and model numbers) these SSDs, and why they only come with a 1 year warranty?

They're Samsung. I don't know the model #.

HP gives them the same 1-year warranty that it gives to other 2.5" SATA drives.

Hi crucialx,

You should check for the respective Carepack warranty for the server, to extend the default 1-year to 3 or 5 year.

Cheers,

Re: SSDs Used in HP BL490c G7 Blades

Hi Albatross,

We did purchase the HP 3year 4 hour support package with all the blades we purchased: UK066E

Do you know if this care pack will increase the warranty on the SSD drives to 3 years as well?

Thanks!
Aaron
