Speed/Duplex greyed out via HP Network Config Utility

Hi There

I understand that the Speed\Duplex of a Blade server is determined by the configured speed set via the Passthrough module. Is there no way you can physically amend the Speed via the configuration utility so that it actually shows 1000/Full rather than Auto/Auto?

Passthrough module does not do anything, it just passes the signal from blade nic to outside chassis.

Blade NIC "speak" only with 1Gb

Re: Speed/Duplex greyed out via HP Network Config Utility

Hi, I am looking for a solution to this issue as well. I have a client that needs to change the port speed for his "Heartbeat" on his cluster servers. apparently, best-practice is to throttle down to 100Mb. Are we stuck with making this change at the Network Switch level???

Thanks,
JOHN
