Strange error: Poll failed at mgmt_cmd.c.1087, errno 2 c7000 OA
Hello!
OA has done reboot 100 days ago.
OA: Poll failed at mgmt_cmd.c.1087, errno 2 (No such file or directory),
fds = 0x101683b0, last_cmd=110
Escalation is done to the manufacturer based on the log to acquire this case.
This OA Reload became a conclusion of not being in already-known HP Onboard Administrator 100 days isuue though it got.
The reason becomes different of the error number when the thing and reactivating the reactivation of each OA on the 43rd of the 68th.
Is it new bug?
Best regards,
Jun.K

Re: Strange error: Poll failed at mgmt_cmd.c.1087, errno 2 c7000 OA
OA: Poll failed at mgmt_cmd.c.1087, errno 0 (Success), fds = 0x101683b0, last_cmd=00
OA: Management process failure. Rebooting the Onboard Administrator
OA Firmware version 2.31 on all 3 enclosures. Any ideas?

"Fixed an issue where the Active and Standby OA modules would automatically reboot after being operational for 99 days if no GUI or CLI sessions were initiated during that time."

Re: Strange error: Poll failed at mgmt_cmd.c.1087, errno 2 c7000 OA
The firmware > 2.40 will contain the fix for this polling problem.
Like Justin write the firm fixed "an issue where the Active and Standby OA modules would automatically reboot after being operational for 99 days if no GUI or CLI sessions were initiated during that time."
So a workaround is to start a GUI as this restarts the counter.

Re: Strange error: Poll failed at mgmt_cmd.c.1087, errno 2 c7000 OA
I apologize for becoming the insufficient explanation.
When having confirmed it
The uptime of standby OA was 68 days, and the uptime of active OA was the 43rd.
This time, Active OA rebooted.
It was confirmed that GUI or CLI not sessions had not passed the 99 days.
