The impact in limiting the number of RSS queues to 4 ?

Hi All,

What could be the effect in disabling the Advanced Mode of the NIC in the System BIOS of the server ?

 

If I cannot apply the driver update, the article says:

 

  • This limits the number of RSS queues to four, which will prevent the creation of un-serviced RSS queues.

 

but I'm not sure what does it says or the impact to the production Virtual Machines (running on VMware) ?
