Time Zone settings in OA
First in the new forum - nice.
Does anyone know of the list of variables that can be entered in the Timezone setting.
I've found this place
http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzref.tzc
and as I'm in the UK I use GMT.
But I've been thinking about Daylight Saving Time and seen this..
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&uid=isg3T1000252
So anyone got any idea what to do for the summer? Do I leave it and it will automatically go forward an hour? or do I have to change it?

Re: Time Zone settings in OA
Hello Adrian
Im not sure, but i would think you have to change it manually. We dont have daylight savings here is SA.
Cheers

Re: Time Zone settings in OA
Well yours is easy. You can enter ZULU for your timezone.
I was looking for something similar to MST7MDT. Which is Mountain Standard Time / Mountaing Daylight Time. As I was assuming that this would change automatically when DST does.
A couple of other sites that I've looked at are.
http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbreviations/timezones/
Which does not mention the ETC zone in my previous post - so who is correct?
http://www.merlyn.demon.co.uk/misctime.htm
Which suggests GMT0BST as a variable to enter.
I'm sure I tried this last time I was on a C-Class and it did not accept it. But maybe the OA firmware is better now. So I will try this next time.
Although I have also found references to GMT1BST which could also be tried.

Re: Time Zone settings in OA
Hello
You almost got me with the ZULU thing, its actually there.
There is only GMT on the OA ver 1.20 - no other GMT settings.
Good Luck
