Trying to disable a single Flex-NIC

Hi All,

We are trying to do a Platespin to one of our BL460C G6 servers. Platespin is failing cause it is seeing more that one NIC. I need to disable (3) of the (4) Flex-Nics so that Platespin will work. Is there a way to disable (3) of the (4) Flex-Nics so that only one Flex-Nic shows up on post?

I am not well versed in VC.

That being said, in the VC Admin tool you can go to that server and remove all but 1 flex NIC which will trickle down to the server automatically at next boot.

You might also be able to F9 in the Server BIOS and simply disable the FlexNICs you don't want to show up.

You can't remove Flex nics.
