URGENT - How can i configutre AC Redundancy in HP ProLiant Blade server
I want to make it AC redundant so that even if one mini bar fails the power is there for all the server.

Re: URGENT - How can i configutre AC Redundancy in HP ProLiant Blade server
the C7000 and C3000 doesn't have a seperate Power-Enclosure. The 3U enclosure was only for the p-Class available.
There are two power busses: Bus A and bus B. Each bus is able to keep the blades running.
To make the power redundant you need a second 3U power enclosure and the "dual power input kit for mini bus bar option". It should be the HP prod-no. 364565-B21.
This will prevent a power outage if one enclousre fails. If only a power supply fails, the server should continue running.
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: URGENT - How can i configutre AC Redundancy in HP ProLiant Blade server
You'll need to make a cross connection between the two power enclosures and the power lines.
Eg:
PowerEnc_1 BusA connected to line 1 and BusB connected to line 2
PowerEnc_1 BusA connected to line 2 and BusB connected to line 1
Otherwise when a power line fails half of the blade (1-4 or 5-8) will shut down.
