Unable to power blade 460c g7 back on after being powered off through ilo

I don't know if there  is a wide issue out there, But we just got a c7000 blade chassis with bl 460c g7's and we replaced motherboards on atleast 9 of them. The issue was that when we powered them off through ilo, they could not be powered back on unless we did it physically by pressing the power button on the blade. Anyone experience this ? Each time i logged the call with hp they have replaced my mother board. Wonder if the next formware update would fix this ??

Re: Unable to power blade 460c g7 back on after being powered off through ilo

Hi,

This issue is due to ILO3 firmware version 1.25.

On an HP ProLiant G7-series server blade with HP Integrated Lights-out 3 (iLO 3) Firmware Version 1.25, the server blade may not "Auto Power On" and a manual power-on may be required.

This occurs because the "Auto Power On" setting is reversed. For example, if the "Auto Power On" feature is "Disabled", the server WILL perform an "Auto Power On."

RESOLUTION:

Version 1.26 of HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO 3) will enable the server blade to perform an Auto Power On.

As a workaround, to ensure the server blade performs an Auto Power On, set the "Auto Power On" to "Disabled" on the "Power Management" >> "Server Power" page of the Integrated Lights-Out 3.

Select "Disabled instead of "On" because the "Auto Power On" setting is reversed.

Please refer the below advisory:

Re: Unable to power blade 460c g7 back on after being powered off through ilo

So you're saying this is due to ilo firmware version 1.26 ? But  the adisory says that this is seen  on systems with version 1.25. Either way all of our blades are allready on the latest and greatest ilo version firmware 1.26
