I fixed our problem by updating the iLO firmware on the blades to the latest version.

Ok problem solved by updating ILO Firmware to latest.
Updated also all blade BIOS to latest.

I've found a quick and dirty fix you can do remotely to fix this issue, just re-flash the ILO2 firmware on the blade(s) affected from within windows, this forces an ILO reset which enables the enclosure to detect the blade again.
Don't worry if you're running the latest ILO2 firmware already, just re-flash over the top with the same version.
