Upgrading Processor on BL480c G1
I'm trying to upgrade the Processors on my BL480c G1 2 2 x quad core x5365 but after the istallation getting " The Revision of te Intel (R) 5000 series Chipset on this System Board doe not support the installed Processor type - System Halted!
I have upgraded the bios version till the latest I14 24/01/08 and upgraded firmware to version 8 what am i missing?

Hi,
there are 2 types of systemboard - for dual core CPUs and for quad-core...
410293-001 I/O System board - Supports dual-core processors
438453-001 I/O System board - Supports quad-core processors
Was the server shipped with a 53xx/54xx Xeon CPU standard or you've taken both CPUs and now add the quad cores?
If you have a dual-core systemboard(like it seems), you have to upgrade the sysboard too, in order to be able to use the x5365 CPUs in the blade...
