VC Ethernet question on Nic Teaming and TLB

We currently have 2 seperate Virtual Networks in our C7000 Virtual Connect modules. Prod1 and Prod2. This was to allow dual pathing and redundancy via the 2 ethernet modules. We have enabled LACP 802.3ad with 6 ports on each side. The external switches are also configured for LACP.

The question is the configuration the HP Teaming Software version 9.10. We set the following under Teaming Controls:

Team Type Selection:
Transmit Load Balancing with Fault Tolerance

Transmit Load Balancing Method:
Automatic

Is this the correct setting for the BladeSystem blades?

We have similar configuration - we use LACP. In Team type selection we use "Automatic" and in result we have current mode "Transmit Load Balancing with Fault Tolerance"

TLB basically balances the transmit traffic among the team members, but does not require any special switch intelligence or switch configuration. In TLB teams, receive traffic is not load balanced, but is received on a single team member

It seems that you are looking for LACP solution, There is team type called 802.3ad Dynamic which is IEEE LACP, its provides receive and transmit load balancing.
