VC-FC How to configure multiple active uplinks with static login
On c7000 enclosure, we have 4 x BL870 servers. Each server is occupied with a FC mezzanine card (dual port). It connects to SAN through the VC-FC and a CISCO switch with only one uplink. When we try to configure a second uplink to increase the bandwidth, we receive a "degraded" mode for the SAN fabric. Also, it has been noticed that the new uplink becomes active and the first gets out of service. Any suggestions? Thanks.
VC firmware 1.3.

Re: VC-FC How to configure multiple active uplinks with static login
Check the scenarios (2/3) and the appendix for Cisco config in this doc. MaybeNPIV needs configuring.

Also check the VC support group on BladeConnect as there may be an answer there

Re: VC-FC How to configure multiple active uplinks with static login
We have opened a case on HP, and the answer was no trunking is possible using the VC-FC module. Each HBA port should connect to only one external port (uplink) on same VC-FC module!!
