VC and Blade Port mapping
Just wondering how the port mapping with this config.
C 7000 enclosure with BL680c blades
Each blade has- 4 LOM ports.
Mezz 1 has - 2 port FC port
Mezz 2 has- 4 ports Ethernet
Mezz 3 has - 2 ports Ethernet
Total 10 ethernet and 3 FC port each blade.
The proposed VC config will be.
Bay 1 and 2 - Ethernet VC module
Bay 3 and 4 - 4Gb FC module
Bay 5 and 6 - Ethernet VC module
Bay 7 and 8 - Ethernet VC module

I've been busy so no responses for a few days. Looks like you are still mixing up port mapping of the NICs to interconnects in an enclosure (physical) with VC configuration which is mapping of NICs to VC uplinks. (Virtual).

LOM ethernet 4 ports --> 2 ports to VC IC 1, and 2 ports to VC IC 2.
MEZZ1 --> 1 port to IC 3 and 1 port to IC4.
MEZZ2 --> Port 1 to IC 5. Port 2 to IC 6. Port 3 to IC 7. Port 4 to IC 8.
MEZZ3 --> Port 1 to IC 7 and Port 2 to IC 8.

I agree with Adrian. The internal port mappings are not important.
From the Virtual Connect Management homepage you will define networks based on uplink ports. Then for each server you will define a server profile. In this server profile you will assign each NIC and HBA to one of the defined networks (or SANs).
If you choose to connect the VC modules that are not side-by-side you can map any NIC from each server to any defined network.
For example, I connect 3 network cables to uplink ports 1,2,3 on Ethernet VC in bay 1 and in bay 2. I define the network to be called "Production VLAN". All 8 of my full-height blades can use this network... I just have to create a profile for them and select Production VLAN for NIC 1 (or perhaps NIC1 and NIC4, it is my choice). I can also connect a network cable to port 8 on VC module 5 and 6 and define it as "DMZ VLAN". Maybe only servers in bay 2 and bay 7 need to connect to this network. On server2 and server7 profile I select DMZ VLAN for NIC6.
All of my choices here are random. The four basic steps are:
1) Connect network cables to Ethernet VC uplink ports.
2) Define networks in VCM by giving each network a name and picking uplink ports it will use.
3) On each server profile, point each NIC to one of the networks you have defined.
4) Assign the server profile to the server bay.
I hope this helps you get closer to a solution!

Thanks for clarifying. I have done this.
But the problem/clarifiction i am looking is,
I have multiple VLAN's in one shared uplink (trnked). If i go to one one of the server profile and choose multiple networks and selcet all the VLAS it hsould use via that blade NIC port, it shows an error "Unknown". However eventhough if i click apply, it shows everything normal.
So i am concerned, if i multiple network, it shows unknown error and if i choose single VLAN uplink ports, it is normal. why it is so.

Ethernet Settings > Advanced Settings is Map VLAN Tags.
and the vmware supports VLAN anyway way.
