VC connected servers not able to communicate - ping fails
Hi,
We have two c7000 enclosures, each with 5 bl680C blade Servers. All are in linux rhel5 clusters. Bay1 on enclosure 1 & 2 are in one cluster. Bay2 on ecclousre 1 & 2 are in one cluster, like that it goes. Now we two procurve switches on the network.
Both enclosure have two VC 1/10Gb-F VC Enet modules. All the 4 RJ45 ports on first VC module which is left side is connected to 1st procurve switch and 4 RJ45 ports on Second VC module is connected to 2nd Procurve switch. Now when we try to ping the server from one enclosure to other is not working. Cluster fails. On the procurve switch STP is enable, and the ports which are coming from VC modules are trunked with LACP.
The ip address range is single, with no VLANS.
On the vc we have created single network with all the RJ45 ports on both VC per enclosure.
Model of procurve switch is 2900-24G-j9049A
Appreciate if somebody help on this.
Regards,
Simson

Re: VC connected servers not able to communicate - ping fails
Hi Simson,
Chekc is the profiles have been assigned and also th elinks are up.
After this the same old procedures of testing pinging vlan, gateway etc to be performed.
