VLAN Tagging on ILO-Port

Hello,

we have a c7000 enclosure with three bl3460cg6 and eight interconnect switches. The ILO-addresses of the interconnect-switches and the ILO-addresses of the blade-servers and the enclosure itself are on different subnets. Is it possible to use VLAN-tagging on the uplinking ILO-port of the enclosure, so that the two subnets (switches, enclosure+ILO) can be separated later? Thanks!

regards,
Martin

Re: VLAN Tagging on ILO-Port

Martin,

yes this can be done... use the VLAN configuration in the OA to separate your ILO's, interconnect switches, OA's in to different VLAN.

Just be aware the OAs and VC modules need to be in the same VLAN.
