Virtual Connect Flex-10 and vSphere best practise?
I have a vSphere cluster on BL495c blades connected to Flex-10.
On ESX hosts default outbound loadbalancing is used for redundancy.
I can remove or shutdown each virtual connect module and still have network access from the virtual environment.
But recently during virtual connect firmware upgrade I noticed that HA reported the hosts isolated, and the virtual machines lost network access.
Since this incident I activated Smart Link, but is not convinced that it is sufficient.
Is there a cookbook or best practise for this setup?
