Virtual Connect Uplink statistics/performance

Hi,

I have a number of C7000 enclosures with 2 VC 4GB FC interconnects. Is it possible to monitor the throughput on each of the FC uplink ports?

I am concerned that there may not be enough uplink bandwidth to satisfy the IO requirements of 16 blade servers. What's the best way to monitor IO throughput in real time and also historically.

If the uplinks were overloaded what would be the affect on the blade servers? Would there be a general slowdown or would we expect scsi timeouts etc?

nope, but monitor the san ports where vc is connected. Do you have brocade or cisco san switches?
