Virtual Connect and DMZ help
Trying to get a Blade server to connect to a DMZ. Server has no mezz cards, just embedded NICs.
In VC, have a Shared Uplink Set of two ports in Interconnect Bays 1 and 2 connected to the same DMZ switch as the other DMZ servers. Vlan'ing is on the switch and VC, not on the server.
It has an Associated Network called "DMZ" with vLan ID 1
Server unable to ping any server in the DMZ.
Any advice?

Re: Virtual Connect and DMZ help
Start with server; check IP settings, snoop the interface to see which subnet it is on.
From VC manager, triple check ethernet networks with an eye on correct VLAN ID assignment. Server profile should be assigned correct ethernet network.

Re: Virtual Connect and DMZ help
Took away the VLAN tagging and it worked straight away. It was uplinked to a layer 2 switch, i thought it was a layer 3.
