Virtual Connect in C7000

We have a C7000 with one VIRTUAL CONNECT FLEX-10/10D MODULE (639852-001), how to add a second Virtual connect and configure as Active/Standby mode. Does the firmware need to be upgraded.

Hi, 

To add another VC module to an existing VC domain, you need a identical module. (639852-001) installed in 2nd IC bay of the ennclosure. Make sure that the 2nd VC module firmware is same as the first one. 'Please refer to the VC traffic flow guide.

Latest firmware of the Virtual connect Flex and FC modules is 4.85.
