WWN for windows

can some one tell me how to find the WWN for fibre card on windows envirnment.
any tool or utility?

Hi Asim,

If you are using C-class blade, Access OA,
Select the server (Device bays)in which you have fibre card, Click on information TAB.

It will list you the device ID.

yes it can be accessed through OA,what if in windows we want to access the WWN for fibre card is there any tool utility for this?

Hi Asim,

Try Data collection report in HPSIM.
I am not sure, I think they report WWN.

is there any way to know the WWN for fibre card in windows.any other tool utility to get fibre information.
i donot have hpsim neither i have prerequistics for it.
kindly tell me some other way to know tht information.i have heard the name of fibre software but not remember.

Perhaps you are thinking of SANSurfer (for QLogic cards) or HBAnywhere (for Emulex cards).

HP system management homepage - no need to load Insight Manager.

I would strongly recommend loading the HP utilities.

If that doesn't work and for whatever reason you don't want to load them - you can install HBAnywhere.
