What are the enclosure uplink/downlink ports used for?!

Hi,

We have a C3000 in production and now have a C7000 being prepped... looking at the ports on both enclosures we have these uplink/downlink ports...

Currently none are plugged in... what are they for, and why daisy chain them to each other?

Re: What are the enclosure uplink/downlink ports used for?!

You can connect the enclosures and manage both in a single OA session.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

And if You have HP SIM in use it will draw the rack contents for more visual management.
