Windows 2008 core Hyper-V install BL20p G3

Hello,

I'm trying to install Windows 2008 core with Hyper-V RC0 on a BL20p G3 with two proccessors 3.4 Ghz.
Installation is done and windows 2008 is running, also the Hyper-V services are running.

I'm able to manage my Hyper-V enviorment, but are unable to start any guest OS.

The error I get is that "Hypervisor is not running"
I upgraded the BIOS to I08, as described in the HP documentation.
But I'm unable to find the setting "Intel Virtualization Technology"

What do I need to do to get this working?

Try, F9 during boot. Go to BIOS , in Advanced Options you should find the Intel Virtualization option to enable.

You'll need a more recent hardware...
Hyper-V only works with hardware assisted virtualization (Intel VT or AMD-V). key differences here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtualization

What you have there are single-core processors which do not have this feature built-in.

Use this tool to compare Intel processor features:
http://processorfinder.intel.com/List.aspx?ProcFam=528&sSpec=&OrdCode=

Your hardware specs here:

Furthermore, I would advise you to use a 64-bit extension (Intel EM64T) capable hardware also.
