bl460c and Solaris 10 x86

Trying to install Solaris 10 x86 05/08 but the blade does not see any drives. I have updated all the blade firmware to the latest available. Anyone had success?

Re: bl460c and Solaris 10 x86

What type of media do you have and how is it connected?

You will likely need a solaris driver for the array controller in order to see any drives.

Check for drivers here...

Yes, that was the issue. Created DVD driver media and loaded during installation. Thank you.

Glad to be of assistance.

Besure to close out the thread when you are satisified with the outcome.

Re: bl460c and Solaris 10 x86

I admire your patience - Solaris installs from media have been some of the slowest installs I've ever done :)

Just for completeness, even though it may be mentioned in some of the posted URLs, if you install something older then 5/08 you will also need a "bnx2" driver update for the core NICs.
