c3000 With Dual OA Modules Has Unknown Password

My company has received two CTO c3000 systems with dual onboard administrator modules. On first power up the OA modules want to sync up. When they do sync the OA password is then unknown. The password from the sticker on either OA does not allow us to log on to the OA web page. The message is "Invalid User Name and/or Password. NOTE: User Name and Password are case sensitive"

Re: c3000 With Dual OA Modules Has Unknown Password

The oa user guide tells you how to reset the OA password back to default (ie, what is on the label on the oa module).

Re: c3000 With Dual OA Modules Has Unknown Password

Here is the procedure that was used to solve the problem.
1. Unplug the entire OA module from its bay
2. Unplug the secondary OA from the primary
3. Insert the primary OA back into the bay
4. Step through the lost password procedure in the manual
5. Log on to the primary OA
6. Insert the secondary OA

Going forward we must remember to power up the bladecenter without the secondary OA. After we have logged on to the primary we can insert the seconday OA. Hopefully this will prevent this scenario from repeating.
