c7000 PDU Power

can anyone explain the difference between input requirement i.e. 40 Amp ( Single Phase )that is for the PDU that comes with c7000 enclousre & output industrial Sockets are of 60 Amp ( Single Phase ) .

As per the standard way it should be like this

2 x 40 Amp ( Single Phase ) inputs with 2 x 40 Amp Plug Type

Or

2x 60 Amps ( Single Phase ) inputs with 2 x 60 Amps Plug Type

So again the question is why pdu is of 60Amp and the industrial sockets connected to the pdu are of 60 amp. which rating should be used while selecting the breaker type.
