Hello,
The Management Console access of the GbE2c from the OnBoard Administrator Gui is by default using http. What is the procedure for switching it to https? I have seen in the doc how to enable https on the switch and on the Onboard Administrator, but couldn't find how to change this Management Console link.
Many thanks!

Claude:
I tested this here and the OA does not recognize an https mgmt console link for a GBE2c nor for a Cisco blade switch. I think this is because the OA doesn't really know what http access method it should use for each IO device it just assumes http. There needs to be an enhancement to the OA where it may query the IO device to determine the correct access method or where a user can manually configure the access method on the console link.

Re: cClass OnBoard Administrator and GbE2c management
Thanks a lot for the information, that's more or less what I suspected.
So I understand with the current OA release, we have a coherency issue with the iLO remote access recommended practice.
Hopefully this will be enhanced in a newer version.
