can't show the blade servers on RDP console section..
recently we faced this scenario;
we had :
- 1 (one) c-7000 enclosure, with 1 (one) OA and with 2(two) pass through installed..
- 3 (three) bl-460c g1 installed. at bay 1,2 and 3.
- 1 (one) dl-145 as a RDP server.
need help guys, can u show me the right procedure, whitepappers or manual guide.. howto show the blade server using an on RDP console server???
the communication between OA, the blades and the rdp server itself are good.. i already set the ip addresses on each of the servers..and it is sucessfull when ping between them..
fyi,at HP SIM on rdp server.. the blades are sucessfully autodiscover..
i allready installed the ICDVD220 with the rdp on it.. but when i try open the RDP console,.. i can't find/ discover the blade's server at the computers section???
do i must setup it manually or it can be like autodiscover guys???
is it something do i miss out???
need help guys...!!!
tks a lot..

Re: can't show the blade servers on RDP console section..
You must enable physical view and pxe boot your blades.
You can find me from Twitter @JKytsi

Re: can't show the blade servers on RDP console section..
As said above the RDP needs to Discover the server before it can show in the RDP console. The RDP need the RDP agent on the server with the right settings.
If you don't have OS you PXE boot the server the it will be discovered and you can see it in physical view and as an object.
If you have OS without an agent then you need to use the Agent remote installer to install the agent from the RDP.
If you have OS with agent then you need to verify connections and settings in the agent.

2."how to erase the system/array configuration on my blade using rdp ???

i assign jobs from the jobs panel "Server Deployment Toolbox--->Hardware configuration--->Array--->Erase Proliant ML/DL/BL Array configuration (winPE)".. and

Re: can't show the blade servers on RDP console section..
If you re-run the RDP installation, there is a step that runs after the main Altiris install. This is the step that puts in all the HP specific and OS specific settings. Running this will allow you to add any of the supported Operating Systems to your installation.
What you are looking to run is the "Proliant Integration Module". I attached a ascreenshot.
HP Master ASE, Storage, Servers, and Clustering
MCSE (NT 4.0, W2K, W2K3)
VCP (ESX2, Vi3, vSphere4, vSphere5, vSphere 6.x)
RHCE
NPP3 (Nutanix Platform Professional)
