Hi All,
We have c7000 enclosure we would like to have 3 network connections and 3 fc connections.
so we are going to purchase 3 Network switches and 3 Fc switches, can we install them without pairs. I mean e.g. 3rd bay has network switch but 4th one is empty.
Similarly we have FC switch in bay 7 and bay 8 as empty.

Solution
Sure ...
left side works also with single switch.
But do note that You will also lose the second NIC port or FC HBA port from server if you do not install the switches in pairs.
and there is only 4 pairs of interconnect bays. So don't buy 6 interconnect modules if you are going to use them in single switch "mode".

Re: can we install interconnect modules in c7000 enclosure without pairs.
This will not work with half height blades.
3x FC connections will require 2 mezzanine cards. Thus preventing you having a mezzanine card for the 3rd NIC.
