hello all,
brand new c7000, brand new 2 x cisco 3020. only the OA has a network cable connected
enabled EBIPA for both switches, I can connect to the management console via OA (using IE8), however i cant enable telnet from the express setup.
i check the enable telnet box, set a pass... hit submit... it ask me for a vlan so i typed 1, then it ask me for an IP (dont know why if im already connected to the IP i setted at ebipa) typed the ip, subnet and GW...it says I have to enter a valid number (regarding IP), but anything I enter in the IP fields, is said to be conflicting with the address the EBIPA set on FA0.
any toughts?
note: console port + hyperterminal is out of the question.
thanks in advance,
10 points to the network master!

Solution
Use the management serial port on the Cisco Switch to configure a static IP address and a Telnet password.
Check this out, it will help:
