Re: how many blade switch needed for bl680?
Is this a bl680G7? The NICs are 10GBE Flex Fabric. With a Cisco 3020, only 1 GB would be supported on each port.
Why don't you tell us what you plan to do with this double-width, full-height blade?
Will you use FCoE? iSCSI?
Thanks,
Carl

Re: how many blade switch needed for bl680?
1.Network Controller:
Six (6) embedded HP NC553i 10Gb FlexFabric Adapters supporting autosensing 10Gb/1Gb Ethernet, FCoE, Flex-10, TCP/IP offload engine, hardware-based accelerated iSCSI, and iSCSI boot
2.The embedded adapter ports are routed interconnect bays 1 and 2 (c7000) and interconnect bay 1 (c3000)
3. so 2 blade witch in bays 1 and 2 is enough?
4. please see atached file

Re: how many blade switch needed for bl680?
I asked how you plan to use this blade to get some idea of bandwidth requirements.
If I understand your configuration (and I am not an expert) you will be limited to 1 gigabit bandwidth for each of those six Flex Fabric ports. While that might be plenty, it also might be inadequate (with just the two Cisco 3020). If you use teaming, some of those ports might be in standby mode.
If you will reveal your intentions, perhaps you will get more information back from the forum.
My 2 cents.
