unassign the HA Alternate bootpath.

Good morning everyone, I need to unassign the HA Alternate bootpath, it's assigned to the mirror disk and there is no need to have it, is there any way to remove it?

# setboot
Primary bootpath : 0/0/0/2/0/0/0.0x0.0x1000000c0000000 (/dev/rdisk/disk17)
HA Alternate bootpath : 0/0/0/2/0/0/0.0x0.0x1010000c0000000 (/dev/rdisk/disk18)
Alternate bootpath : 0/0/0/2/0/0/0.0x0.0x1010000c0000000 (/dev/rdisk/disk18)

Autoboot is ON (enabled)
Hyperthreading : ON
: ON (next boot)

Thanks in advance.

Re: unassign the HA Alternate bootpath.

why remove it? it is the next try if the primary fails.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: unassign the HA Alternate bootpath.

Hi Torsten:

I was just trying to see if that is possible, I know that the other disc is the next try, in fact it is the same as the secondary, but my boss wanted to know if it was possible, so I asked, thanks.
