use cisco 3020 8 ports as normal switch

hi all,
I am using HP C7000 enclosure with 2 cisco 3020 blade switches
could I use the 8 external interface as normal switch port, like for example I can assign,
First 4 ports to VLAN 10 and other 4 Ports into VLAN 20,
And connect PC on port 1(VLAN10) and internally I am connecting all of my blades into VLAN10,
Than I will use port 2 as uplink port for all VLAN 10 traffic for both switches and PC,
So could I use these eight ports as normal switch port and in the sametime use on of them as uplink cable.

I know from pervious experience with C7000 and HP BLc 1/10Gb VC-Enet Module it is not working
PS. How to add point to participating people
thanx

Yes you can.
Thats because the Cisco 3020 is a layer2 switch (similar to the 2650 I believe) and the BL 1/10Gb VC-Ent is not a switch, which is why you could not.

To assign points. Look to the right of my name. There should be a drop down box to assign the points.

Cisco 3020 is a regular 24 Port Ethernet switch, the following guide will show you some good design examples:
