vmware ESXI 4.1 patching on BL460

We used HP supplied build ISOs, to build our BL460 G6 and G7 servers, with vmware ESXI 4.1. We  are looking at patching. We would like to use vmware update manager for patching. One thing we are thinking about, do HP release any vmware patches, specifically for their ISO builds. I am keen to avoid a situation where vmwares patches cause any unexpected results on HP builds.

Multiple bundles are available for download, directly from the Update Manager

Just add http://vibsdepot.hp.com/hpq/jun2012/index.xml under Configuration - Download Sources...

Hello,

you can use vmware update manager without any problem and then add som HP vibs if you want.

But Bart's post is really great and recomended.
