Option2>>> U can create Vlan in Blade Switch and add both heartbeat NIC port. But disadvantage of this is both hearbeat ports should be from same blade switch means there won't be any switch level redundancy if Blade switch will fail cluster will go down.

Re: win 2008 cluster on Proliant BL460c g1
i have already gave static Ip on both, but not the same Ip, so what do you mean "unique IP on both servers", are you saying to give the same Ip to both private NIC's? cause if so it will be a conflict ip.
thanx.

Re: win 2008 cluster on Proliant BL460c g1
Within Virtual Connect you can create another network and give it no uplink ports. This creates a network internal to the enclosure. (Be sure not to check the "Private Network" box. This makes it impossible for servers to talk to each other without bouncing off an external device.) Modify your server profiles in Virtual Connect Manager so that the heartbeat NIC points to the new "internal" network.
Read pages 104-105 here for step-by-step instructions:

You may also wish to browse the VC-Ethernet cookbook here:

Good luck!
