BladeSystem Matrix 6.2 w/ EVA Continuous Access (CA) Asynchronous replication
Paul had a BladeSystem Matrix question:
**********************
All,
I'm a storage SA and have a customer with HP BladeSystem Matrix deployed in two locations along with EVA8400's in each location. They are at a point where they want to run Continuous Access Asynchronous replication (CA) between the sites and I know BladeSystem Matrix only supported synchronous replication using Insight Recovery.
Has that restriction been lifted to support asynchronous replication with the 6.2 release? I just checked the compatibility matrix and it does not specify either way.
Thanks,
*******************
Bill knew the answer:
*********************
Hi Paul,
Yes - Insight Recovery does support EVA Continuous Access Asynchronous replication with the 6.2 release.
Please let me know if you have any other questions regarding IR.
Best regards,
