How to identify Insight Control managed systems
A question from Manuel:
*************
Is there any way to know if a particular system, given its serial number, is being managed by Insight Control? I mean, is there a “portal”, central database or something like that?
I have a customer that is paying a license of Insight Control, but does not know if it is being used or not.
This customer is a huge government department with many datacenters, so my other option is to ask one after another and hope that some of them answers me.
Thanks in advance.

Here are a few options that might help.
http://www.hp.com/wwsolutions/misc/hpsim-helpfiles/mxhelp/mxportal/en/report_about_license.html
You also can retrieve licenses from a SIM server via the dbo.lmLICENSESTATUS or dbo.LMCertificateList tables in the Insight DB being used.

Any other suggestions?
