OID's?
Does anyone have OID info for the RA / OA's? I'd like to use a tool to graph some values using SNMP. Rob

OID's?
"The HP BladeSystem Onboard Administrator supports SNMP Version 2 and supports several groups from the standard MIB-II MIB. Additionally, information about the enclosure infrastructure is available as detailed in the HP Rack Information MIB. The Rack Information MIB is part of the Insight Management MIBs with the identification of CPQRACK-MIB which can be found on the ProLiant Essentials Foundation Pack - Management CD." [OA user guide v1.30 page 70] Here's a link to get the MIB files: http://tinyurl.com/27ladd Good Luck, and let us know how it works out for you! John

OID's?
John, I've noticed the the OA supports the sending of traps... however I don't see a place where I can specifiy a SNMP manager... I'm trying to SNMP "walk" my OA's and I'm not able to? Rob

OID's?
In the OA you can configure SNMP community strings, trap (alert) destinations, but there's no concept of configuring an SNMP manager. If you are using 'snmpwalk', something simple like this should work: $ snmpwalk -c public <OA IPADDRESS> enterprises For example, I did this: controltower:~# snmpwalk -c public 10.128.175.235 enterprises | head -20 CPQSINFO-MIB::cpqSiSysSerialNum.0 = STRING: "2Z34AB7890" CPQSINFO-MIB::cpqSiSysProductId.0 = STRING: "412152-B21" CPQSINFO-MIB::cpqSiProductName.0 = STRING: "BladeSystem c7000 Enclosure" CPQSM2-MIB::cpqSm2CntlrAgentLocation.0 = INTEGER: enclosureFirmwareAgent(4) CPQSM2-MIB::cpqSm2CntlrModel.0 = INTEGER: 8 CPQHOST-MIB::cpqHoMibStatusArray.0 = Hex-STRING: 01 02 01 0C 00 00 00 00 01 02 01 13 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 02 01 05 00 00 00 00 01 02 01 13 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 02 01 01 CPQRACK-MIB::cpqRackMibRevMajor.0 = INTEGER: 1 CPQRACK-MIB::cpqRackMibRevMinor.0 = INTEGER: 1 CPQRACK-MIB::cpqRackMibCondition.0 = INTEGER: ok(2) CPQRACK-MIB::cpqRackOsCommonPollFreq.0 = INTEGER: 0 CPQRACK-MIB::cpqRackAssetIndex.1 = INTEGER: 1 CPQRACK-MIB::cpqRackName.1 = STRING: "ICLE-Demo-Rack" CPQRACK-MIB::cpqRackUid.1 = "" CPQRACK-MIB::cpqRackSerialNum.1 = "" CPQRACK-MIB::cpqRackTrapSequenceNum.1 = INTEGER: -1
