Onboard Administrator (OA) LAN port speed
Winston was looking for some input regarding the OA in the BladeSystem enclosure:
****************
My customer is moving to a new Nexus network soon and have been discussing the various connections in the DC. One of the discussions was around the OA port speed which is currently at 100MEG FD. This is a problem as the new network architecture support 10G and stepping down to 100MEG is going to require additional network hardware.
Does the OA support any faster LAN connections?
**************
Info from Monty:
****************
The c7000 OA with DDR2 and KVM has a gigabit Management Port that is capable of both 1000BaseT and 100BaseT.
***************
Any other suggestions?
