Question on offline firmware updates
Kristy had a firmware update question:
************************
If I am using Remote Insight Board Command Language (RIBCL) scripts to do offline firmware updates with HP Software Update Manager (HPSUM) is there a way to get log details from HPSUM about the firmware update?

Michael replied:

Yes, if you mount the iLO Virtual Floppy, HPSUM will write the logs from the installation to it. This only occurs when HPSUM knows it is running in offline mode as happens when you boot the Firmware DVD using the iLO Virtual Media support. You may have to update the iLO firmware first if needed to keep the virtual floppy connected as it will be reset after the iLO firmware updates and resets the iLO.
