SNMP version supported by the Onboard Administrator (OA)
Robert had a question:
***************
Can anyone advise the version of SNMP supported by OA module firmware? Customer is asking and I can’t find any clear references in any docs about it. I can see it’s not v3, since no authentication and privacy options can be set, but is it v1 or v2c?
**************
David replied:
***************
Compatible with SNMPv2c so you can use standard Windows SNMP layer but the “syntax” and “vocabulary” of SNMP traps and the like only utilize the v1 verbs…
*****************
Any other comments or suggestions?
