Security report on all management ports

Meg was adddressing a customer concern:

*****************

I’ve been asked by a customer if we provide ‘NIST” reports (I think that is the right acronym) for the mgmt ports on the OA and interconnect mgmt ports.

This report is a result of scans for security vulnerabilities when accessing or receiving data from these ports .

If not, is there a list of what encryption method is used for all these ports? (Ie SSL, etc)

I can’t answer for the various interconnects – but the OA 3.30 User Guide has information on the OA Management Port:

  • Access Requirements (Page 10) contains a table of the various network ports required to communicate based on protocols that are enabled
  • Network Access (Page 101) contains the list of encryption algorithms supported by the OA with Strong Encryption enabled and disabled.
  • Supported SSH and SSL Versions (Page 215) is a table listing the modules used based on OA version

I’m not aware of any NIST reports on the OA.

Any other help for Meg?
