What SIM Configuration changes to be done when moving the Database ?
Immanuel had a customer that was moving their SQL databases and the SIM application was using it.
***************************************************************************************
Hi,
One of my customers is in the process of moving one of their SQL Databases [sql instance and the server] into a new location.
They found that their RDP and SIM is pointing to this database.
Are just the OBBC Settings needed to be changed or what orther changes are to be done prior to moving this database and after so that hp SIM’s working is not affected.
The databases set up on the management servers are :
- eXpress - (Remote Deployment Pack)
- Insight_v50_0_13304086 - (HP SIM)
- PMP_V3_0 - HP Performance management pack (Part of HP SIM)
- VPMPATCH_PAD1MANA1 – Patch manager for SIM
