About QLogic QMH4062 and bonding for BL465c
Fei had a question:
*******************************************************************************************
My customer is using BL465c, with OS RHEL5.4.
Could you help me to confirm the question below please?
Suppose BL465c’s embedded network controller to be NIC1 & NIC2,
And add an Ethernet Mezzanine Options QMH4062
(QLogic QMH4062 1Gb E iSCSI Adapter for HP BladeSystem c-Class 488074-B21)
to have network port as NIC3 & NIC4.
1) Is it possible to use QMH4062 as an ordinary network controller?
Does it have something to do with Linux OS ver.?
2) Is it possible to have NIC1 & NIC3, or NIC2 & NIC4 in a same bonding?
Does it have something to do with OS NIC driver or bonding driver?

Chris had a confiming answer:
***********************************************************************************************************
Yes, it is possible to have the 2 bonds setup as you describe.

Do you use a lot of NIC teaming in your data centers. Are there scenarios you would like to see us support?
