HP Blade Switch 6120XG CPU utilization

Hello,

Hello,

We have two 10Gb HP Blade Switch 6120XG and two 1Gb 6120G/XG switches in a c3000 chassis. Every 41 hours each switch will experience a higher than usual CPU utilization (40-50%).
"show cpu" will display:

Task usage for last 8 sec
% CPU | Description
-------+--------------------------
64.1 | Idle
0.4 | Sessions & I/O
4.1 | System Services
0.2 | SNMP
31.2 | IP Host/Routing

Advanced diagnostics ("edomtset", then "taskUsageShow") show following:

| Recent | % | Total | Time Since | Times | Max
Task Name | Time | CPU | Time | Last Ran | Ran | Time
----------------+---------+-----+---------+------------|----------|-------
InetServer | 18 ms | 1 | 279 ms| 113 us | 2201 | 682 us
mPpmgrCtrl | 20 ms | 1 | 364 ms| 216 ms | 85 | 9 ms
eDevIdle | 272 ms | 24 | 4 s | 480 us | 124842 | 270 us
tDevPollRx | 392 ms | 34 | 5 s | 390 us | 62217 | 287 us
tDevPollTx | 361 ms | 32 | 5 s | 541 us | 62205 | 288 us
bcmCNTR_0 | 46 ms | 4 | 643 ms| 200 ms | 1000 | 816 us

"ghs lt" command shows increased usage in:

Memory: Used/Size or
Task Id Status Pri Stack:HiWater/Size Time Task Name
------------ ---------------- --- --------------------- ------- ---------
0x1cff7000 pending 200 0x00000a10/0x00003000 32.50% InetServer
0x1ceb2000 pending 226 0x00000380/0x00002800 20.00% tDevPollRx
0x1ceb1000 pending 226 0x00000438/0x00002800 30.00% tDevPollTx

We are sure that network traffic is not the issue, because regardless of spike occurring or not, network traffic on switches is the same. Plus re-sitting OA card was the only action that affected spikes occurrence. Nothing else affected timings of the spikes (every 41 hours) in the past and following was done:

firmware update, replace a switch, restart a switch.

What could be the cause of the increased CPU utilization? What are those tasks with high CPU usage responsible for?

Thank you!

PS. Attached a nicer outputs of the task commands.
