Hp GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch Unable to assign management IP address
Hi,
We assign management ip address of Hp GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch manually using null modem cable & connect thru hyper terminal. We are configuring a VRRP set-up in Hp GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch but didn't accomplish the activities so we reset the flash image of switch to restore to its default settings and even reset the hardware, after sometime when we perform manually assigning management IP address, we couldn't access the switch anymore via hyper-terminal (message is "unable to find mac address. .......), we check the null modem cable, the serial port of remote machine and it works fine. we couldn't find or check the root of the problem, we perform other troubleshooting guide offered by HP in its website but to no avail.
Does anyone encountered this problem? Can anyone provide solutions to our problem & HpP team
Thank you in advance
